                                       day 1

Bird's eye chili (cabe rawit ) is one of the horticultural crops widely cultivated in Indonesia due to its high economic value and increasing consumption. Growing bird's eye chili can be done by anyone, whether on large land or in pots in the home garden. This activity aims to teach planting skills and raise awareness about the importance of food security.

Bird's eye chili cultivation can be done easily and is suitable for limited spaces, such as using polybags or pots. With proper and regular care, the plants can grow well and produce fruit within 2.5 to 3 months.

Growing chili peppers in pots is a practical way of farming and is suitable for limited spaces, such as home yards or balconies. Besides saving space, taking care of chili plants in pots is also easier to control. One of the most commonly used growing media is soil, because it is easy to obtain and contains natural nutrients.
