Title: Sand and Stone

Orientation:

One day, in a small village, there lived two friends named Sand and Stone. Though different—Sand was soft and easily carried by the wind, while Stone was hard and heavy—they were always together.

Complication:

One afternoon, heavy rain fell and a flood swept through the village. The strong current carried Sand far away, while Stone remained in place. Sand felt lonely being apart from his friend, and Stone worried because he couldn’t help Sand return.

Resolution:

After several days, the water receded and the wind brought Sand back near Stone. They realized that even though they had been separated, their friendship would never disappear. From then on, they promised to value their differences and remain loyal to each other.

Moral value/coda

Since that day, the villagers often saw Sand and Stone side by side, no matter the season. Their story became a reminder to everyone that true friendship is not about being the same, but about standing by each other—through calm days and storms alike.
